First request
Subject: Quick question on [Month] expenses Hi [Name], I'm closing out [Month] and need a receipt or a quick note for these charges: 1. [Date]: $[Amount] at [Vendor] 2. [Date]: $[Amount] at [Vendor] 3. [Date]: $[Amount] at [Vendor] You can reply to this email with a photo of each receipt, or tell me what it was for. If there is no receipt, just say so. It would help to have these by [Date]. Thank you! [Your name]
Follow-up (day 7)
Subject: Re: Quick question on [Month] expenses Hi [Name], a quick reminder on the [number] items below. A photo or one-line answer is fine. Anything I do not hear back on by [Date] will go in uncategorized for now.
Final nudge (day 14)
Subject: Last call on [Month] receipts Hi [Name], I am finalizing [Month] this week. I still need [number] items. I can send the list again if that helps.
Writing these by hand each month adds up. Paperwork Butler sends them for you from your own list of unmatched transactions.
Run your next month-end without the chasing.
Paperwork Butler emails your client the exact transactions missing a receipt, reads what they send back, and lets you approve the matches. Join the early-access list and get the free email templates.
