PBPaperwork Butler

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026. Draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer.

Paperwork Butler is an early-access project. Right now the website only collects email addresses for a waitlist. This page explains what that means, and what we intend to do if the service launches.

What we collect today

  • Your email address, when you join the waitlist or ask for the free templates.
  • Basic technical data such as your browser and IP address, which our hosting provider (Netlify) records to run the site and block spam.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

How we use it

  • To send you the templates you asked for.
  • To tell you about early access and updates to Paperwork Butler.
  • To contact you for feedback if you agree to it.

We do not sell your email address or share it for marketing. Netlify stores form submissions for us and processes them on our behalf.

If the service launches

If you later use the service, you may upload bank or card statements and your clients may send us receipts. We plan to follow these rules, and we will update this page with exact terms before we accept any real documents:

  • Files are stored privately and used only to match receipts for the bookkeeper who uploaded them.
  • We do not sell, share or use client documents to advertise.
  • You can ask us to delete your data, including client documents, at any time.
  • A person at Paperwork Butler will not read your documents except to fix a problem you ask us to look at.

The service uses an AI model to read receipts. Documents sent to it are used only to return the extracted fields.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from any email with the link in it.
  • Ask us to see or delete the information we hold about you by replying to any email we send you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. We will tell waitlist members about any material change.
